By His Stripes…

“The blood that Jesus shed for me, way back on Calvary. The blood, that gives me strength, from day, to day. It will never lose its power.”

This weekend, I am attending the “Who’s That Lady?” I Am That Lady! 2018 Women’s Signature Conference “I Know It Was The Blood!” Let me tell you, to experience both sides of the conference – serving and being fed, has been exceptional!

What a great reminder of the awesome power that exists in the Blood of Jesus! How often do we even hear about the Blood anymore? You know what got me? And this is something, that I pray for others’ healing, never considering that I could be healed. Until:

I was in the elevator with one of my roommates and our guest musician, I was tired, not really thinking straight, and it showed! I blamed it on the narcolepsy. The guest musician asked, “Narcolepsy? What is that?” A sleeping disorder, blah blah… (I have unfortunately had to explain it to explain it too many times this weekend – medication.) Anyway! She said, “Oh no! Jesus took those stripes so you didn’t have to be diseased! Can I pray for you?”

I said, Sure! I was so humbled! No one has ever prayed for my Narcolepsy! Here is her prayer:

“I come against everything from the enemy. I come against all evil I come against all disease. I come against every symptom. Jesus bore it all. Every disease, He bore it all on the cross. Lying symptoms the enemy wants us to believe. Because Jesus bled and died by His stripes, we are healed. So those symptoms are lying symptoms.” Then she told me: “Claim your healing. Don’t even say you have this or that. Say I’m overcoming this or that. Because by His stripes we are healed. This is the first time I’ve ever said this, so this is for you sis.”

So, by His stripes, I am healed, I am healed, I am healed!
