Former United States President George H.W. Bush passed away last night. A great loss for the American people. His passing coming only seven and a half months after his wife, Barbara, earlier this year.
We know these days will eventually come, however they still seem to catch you off guard. I personally am quite familiar with the Bush family. Jeb Bush was Governor of FL for many years. Former President George W. Bush was president during the years my interests in politics and the world began to to pique. One really could not help but study the politics of the entire family.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. It has been a difficult year, I trust the Lord to get them through.
My prayer for this nation, torn apart by discrimination, racism, and violence is that perhaps we will have a reprieve. See the value of a life, regardless of color, race, gender, ethnicity, age, or sexuality. Sometimes we need a wake up call. Can we turn the sadness into an epic moment? Well, a gal can pray.
I pray the Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush rests well, and God bless the Bush family.
