Isn’t there something about a man who freely worships God, to the point that he allows tears to flow? I didn’t mean to see it. I was worshipping also. I just happened to look up at that very moment he was wiping tears from his eyes. Did I sigh? I closed my eyes and refocused on God and the music. Then, it was almost like immediate conviction. Don’t even think about it. Popped in my mind. Wish I could say I wasn’t, but I did wonder, him?

There’s a difference between what we see of an individual on Sunday and maybe Tuesday, and how they lead their lives every other day of the week. This can be said for us all, women and men, alike. Not that it’s our place to know a person’s relationship with God… But, you can’t know that based off of what you see in Sunday and Tuesday service.

True relationship with God is sacred, occurring between just you two. It’s intimate, late night/early morning talks… No one just the two of you. Words shared that no one else knows. He not only hears, He answers prayers. Not always in the way we want, in the timing, or the answer we want. But, it’s the answer that is for our good! He guides us, teaches us daily, how to live. We have only to hearken to His Word. To experience the Word in our lives, is to experience God.

John 1:1 KJV “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

‭‭My heart’s desire is to experience the Word – experience God, in my life daily. That my light shine. I always knew that there was life in this heart of mine. Just as I knew not to be distracted by that gentleman with the tears in his eyes. My heart belongs to God. I only want what God has for me. Which has been a drastic change from my disinterest. But when the people who love you start praying about it… I suppose you don’t stand a chance! God’s will be done.
