Do you have faith like that? Do you know anyone with faith like that? I need faith like that. I thought I had faith… I always think I have faith… And then, life hits me out of nowhere.
Sometimes, I surprise myself and have all the faith! Other times – I’m sorry, fai- can you repeat the word? Can you put it in a sentence? Can you give the origin and definition? As if I haven’t a clue what it is to have faith!
Besides, God is not a man that He should lie. If He said it, it’s so. If His Word said it, it shall come to pass. So, why stress? Why try to take things into our own hands and just make a mess of this and that?
Meanwhile…
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16 KJV
If I don’t even know what faith is, how am I to use it to quench or extinguish all the fiery darts/flaming arrows of the wicked? Faith is so much more than just believing. It’s a tool/shield we must take into battle. Which is why it’s so difficult to pick up sometimes. For me anyway.
For me, having faith – utilizing faith can be such a struggle. But it shouldn’t be! And, Christ told us if we had faith only the size of a mustard seed, and no doubt, we could move a mountain in His name! It really only takes a little bit of faith and no doubt.
