Faith Journey

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Have you ever been on a journey? A faith journey, if you will… Where you had only God to guide you… You were solely dependent upon Him? This is where I find myself. Solely depending upon God. Where I have written in the past that I knew nothing about faith, well, as I have had to walk this thing out, faith has been the only thing keeping me. Christ has been directing my path along the way. I have come to find, faith is one of the greatest weapons that I have, alongside the Word of God.

They. I’ve written about they before. In any case, they do not understand. Neither did I, until I stopped trying to understand, and decided to just trust Him. He never leads us astray.

We do not see the other side of the tapestry until the beautiful picture is complete. We see the backside. The rough side. The jagged edges, loose ends, or so we think.

It’s not our place to strive with Him as He creates His masterpiece. Why? What’s it all for? Are You sure? Don’t bother asking these questions, He makes no mistakes. So, we trust Him. Because, one day, suddenly, He reveals the plan, the purpose, as He intended all along, as He brings us to our expected end.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

One step down. Waiting for the next to unfold.. With Jesus here to guide me, I won’t take any step alone.
