In The Midst

God is in the midst of it all. I remember hearing those words at one of the lowest points in my life. This has nothing to do with God, I remember thinking. I couldn’t, at the time, comprehend why God would want to be anywhere near what I was enduring, or how..

Looking back, I can see that He was not only in the midst, but He was also covering me. His hand was there, working out all the details. Because, all things really do work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose – Romans 8:28.

In the midst of hardships and trials, we often don’t see God’s handiwork. But when we choose to trust Him completely and cast our burdens on Him, He sustains us, and ensures that we do not move – Psalms 55:22.

He always has a plan, sometimes we need to get out of the driver’s seat and allow Him to drive. We must trust Him enough to place our situations/our lives, in His hands. When we truly give God everything and trust that He is indeed in the midst of it all, we can have confidence that He has it all under control.
