Hope

There’s always hope.

You know the painting of the little girl reaching for the balloon? I love that painting. It signifies hope. There is always hope.

How many of us try one more time, because this time is going to be the time that it works, we get it right… We haven’t lost hope. We haven’t lost our faith.

Don’t lose heart. I implore you, don’t lose hope. Don’t lose your faith.

To be honest with you, I don’t fully understand everything going on today. I mean, I get it. But, I don’t get it. Does that make sense? Maybe I live with rose colored glasses on my face. Because, I believe that God has the whole world in His hands: red, yellow, black and white.

Maybe I’m naive and deceiving myself, because I believe that we can choose to rise above. Because, I don’t understand how “peaceful” protests end in injury, or the use of improvised explosives.

I am choosing not to place my hope in society and government officials, but I am choosing to place my hope and faith in God. He is our only hope.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalms‬ ‭121:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  1. “Maybe I’m naive and deceiving myself, because I believe that we can choose to rise above. …” Love this phrase so much cause I also always believe that no matter what happens we got a choice 💯
