If you’ve been around the “religious” community any length of time, you’ve likely heard the common saying, or seen it on a bumper sticker, “Know God, Know Truth. No God, No Truth. Know God, Know Peace. No God, No Peace.”
As I have been reflecting and praying about these times that we are in, it has become so evident that the world is hungry and in dire need of a Savior. There is so much fear and unrest – chaos, if you will, in the world today. There is the threat of war looming (fear). There are protests, deaths.. Every time you turn on, or read the news there is one tragedy after another. Fear, panic, immorality, malice, lasciviousness, sedition pervades. The pandemic that took the world by surprise, and seems as though it is not letting up any time soon, has left fear, death, sickness in it’s wake.
We look to God and ask, How much longer? How much longer will this evil continue? Father, forgive us for these sins. Please heal our land.
I asked God, how will so many fall away and be deceived by the anti-christ?
I have written about this before, but I am seeing more and more “Christian” churches, leaders who are teaching contrary to the Word of God. They are teaching words that deny that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:5 KJV
From such turn away. Beware.
But then, Jesus told of this in Matthew 24:5-31… Speaking of the end and how many false prophets would arise and deceive many… We see this happening today. Where so many are looking to the church for respite, for truth, for peace, if not careful, in some church communities, individuals are met with false doctrines, false teachings. And are, sadly, deceived.
The door has been opened, the pathway has been set for even the elect to be deceived. The stage has been set for the rise of the anti-christ. With many “Christian” communities no longer teaching, or believing, in the power of the cross, the blood of Jesus, or that Jesus is God, they, along with the world have been deceived. Looking for someone to come in and “set everything that is in chaos” straight. That false peace that the Bible speaks of – will they recognize it for what it is? Or will they fall for the lie?
As the world, right now seeks a savior, seeks peace. They are not looking up and no longer believe on Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God. They know no peace. We have a Savior. Jesus is His name. I will proclaim it everywhere I go. No matter what the enemy tries, one day, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. He gives us peace in the storm. When we abide in Him, He abides in us and we have peace in the midst of the storm! Know God, Know Peace. All we have to do is look up.
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2 KJV
