I’m sure you heard, maybe even said, the above quotes that preachers preached and the world all seemed to agree.

Then covid hit.

Remorse, confusion, mourning, hopelessness, joblessness, you name it, accompanied countless individuals. No more was 2020 what we expected, or wanted, for this year.

I have heard preachers say, I regret saying ______ about 2020. Who knew it would end up like this?

I feel bad for them.

For me, 2020 remains a year of clarity, vision… How can this be? I’m glad you asked. What I see of 2020, is that God is pouring out His Spirit on those who desire Him. He is giving dreams and visions – as the prophet Joel stated in his book, 2:28 KJV: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:”

‭‭We have only to have faith in Jesus Christ, we have only to believe. I have seen clearer in this year than any other year of my life. I have been able to hear from God, serve Him, place unrepentant sins under the blood of Jesus through confession and repentance. I have been able to experience His mercy, love, forgiveness in my life and share this with others. Sorry for talking about myself, I really just want to share what God is doing.

This 2020, is the year of vision, clarity. It is the year where Christ is opening blind eyes, waking us from our sleep, and He is calling us to Himself.

2020 is not over. We still have the last quarter of the year. How will you spend it?
