Speaking Out in Faith

And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word… Luke 1:38 KJV

I can hardly believe that we have made it to December 2021. My kids and I often reflect on how much we have done in 2021, how much has changed, how quickly this year has passed.

This year for us and for many has been a year of faith. Speaking out in faith things as though they were, walking in faith and trusting God to make a way in the wilderness. Trusting God to make a way where there seems to be no way. Trusting God to open doors that seemed shut, open doors that our natural eyes could not see.

My personal testimony has been a year of not only speaking out but also stepping out in faith. It has been a year of venturing out into the unknown without having a sure destination, but knowing, God has a plan. God’s plan rarely matches our own plan. His destination rarely looks like anything we could possibly imagine. But His plan, His way is perfect! His path is sure. His ways are above our ways. He does not disappoint.

I’m still learning to put my self down and follow His way. Even seeing His promises come to pass in my life, sometimes I still fall. I was speaking to a friend the other night and as I encouraged her, I encouraged myself because I was reminded of Proverbs 24:16. The difference between a righteous person and a wicked person is that a righteous person, no matter how many times they fall, will get back up. A wicked person will fall and stay down. We all sin. We all make mistakes. Don’t stay there. We can’t stay down. Speak out in faith your salvation. Especially in this Christmas season. Whether you celebrate or not…

It was the birth of Christ that led us to His death, burial, and resurrection.

Be healed, be saved, be delivered. Speak it out in the name of Jesus Christ.
