Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me. Micah 7:8 KJV
All fall down. No one ever said that you wouldn’t fall. We know that Proverbs 24:16 tells us that while a just man will fall seven times, rising up again, a wicked will fall into mischief… Meaning, the just arise when they fall, no matter how often they fall, but the wicked, when they fall, stay there, in that fallen state.
Sometimes, there are those, our enemies, that do rejoice when they see us fall. This can be discouraging. It may even tempt us to remain in a fallen place, maybe make it harder to get up. Allow me to say, whether they rejoice or not, arise! God is light in every dark place. His strength is made perfect in all of our weakness.
I am coming off of an unimaginably challenging week last week and entering a new week. I will admit, my faith was tried, I was threatened, I felt defeated, I wanted to give up. But God, is light unto me. But God is the Solid Rock on which I place my feet. And, I shall arise. I am not defeated for Christ has neither forsaken me, nor forgotten me.
When I fall… I shall ARISE…

Though the day threatens, though the our hearts feel defeated. When we rise, His love and grace, what strengthens our faith, we will never be forsaken! Father, I pray Your peace, Your strength, Your grace over my sister. Living in You, we are more than conquerors! In Jesus’ name, our risen Saviour, Amen!

Praise God that Jesus lifts us up. He brings healing to our tired soul, giving us a drink of living water to nourish our parched body.

Amen 🙏🏼. I must say it’s sad but it happens. I’m also reminded though we sometimes fall, we must get back up. The Lord has a way of spirituality elevating us to higher places in him and those that laughs at our failures is often that they see your progress and instead of rejoicing with you. They stay as your Title, ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN. They look at where they are and probably don’t realize that they too can be in a better place. I have learned that, people don’t know or understand my prayers, my praise, or my worship. I have been through so much. I have found our through prayers that, no one wants to see do good. The Lord has a way of moving toxic people out of your life. The Lord would put people in your life who would not only be happy and rejoice with me but to also elevate me, rejoice with me, and encourage me to get back up and dust myself off and keep going.

That’s right, no matter how many times we stumble or fall, we get back up. We cannot stay down. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
