I was driving to work yesterday, thinking, praying, thinking… And, as I catastrophized what might happen at work, I remembered that God’s mercies are new every morning. He doesn’t hold yesterday’s faults, failures, mistakes over our heads today. Each day is a fresh start. A chance to begin again. A chance to get it right.
I’m so glad that God holds no grudges! Aren’t you?!
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2 NIV
The same mercy that He extends to us each day, we ought to extend to others. Jesus said in Matthew 5:7 KJV: Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
