What Are You Saying?

There are two types of people in this world: those that you want by your side during a crisis and those you don’t.

Seriously. Now, hang in here with me for a bit, you’ll see where I’m taking this. Y’all know that I’ve been away for a little bit, resting, recovering. Had some unexpected health things come up. I would like to say, first and foremost, thank you all for your prayers, support, and encouragement. It has been much appreciated and needed ❤

I have been slow to catch up/keep up with reading all your posts, please know, I am trying. And it will be a slow start for me to get back to posting as well. With that being said.. Let’s get to it!

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21 NIV

Life and Death. Love and Hate. Good and Bad. Righteousness and Evil. Light and Darkness. Right and Wrong.

We speak these things. Our words have the power to speak life and death.

You know, when we are enduring a struggle, crisis, trial, our words matter. The words that we allow others to speak to us regarding our situation matters. I hadn’t realized this so much until, life really began to matter for me personally. There were those, likely out of fear, that began to speak words that, honestly sounded like death to me/over me. Then there were those who approached things from a stance of faith and Godly authority and spoke life into my body and situation. Who lifted prayers on my behalf, not accepting anything less than supernatural healing that can only come from the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus!

Because, truth is, perfect love casts out all fear. To speak love and life can only come from a heart that knows Jesus.

As I continue to grow in my walk with Him each day, I learn to cast my cares (anxieties, fears, sicknesses, doubts, worries, anger, triggers, etc…) on Him, because He cares for me. That way, I know there is room to hide His Word in my heart that I might not sin against God. Whatever is in our heart determines what we say.
