Ever since I can remember, my mama wanted gray hair framing her face. As a younger child, I didn’t understand this. As I’ve aged, I can appreciate the example she provided of accepting growing older with grace, aging, gray hair, etc… While many women strive to appear younger, cover and conceal gray hair, wrinkles and anything else that alludes to the dreaded aging.
I like how Solomon put it: The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness. Proverbs 16:31 NKJV
Check out the NLT version: Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life. Proverbs 16:31 NLT
So, yeah, those gray hairs are a crown of glory! Especially when the person rocking them are living a holy, righteous, godly life!
I don’t have any gray hairs yet. I nearly panicked the first time I thought I saw one. But you know what? As long as I am striving to live my life for Christ, bring on the gray hairs! I will gladly and boldly wear my crown of glory!

I agree with you. It’s not bad to have gray hairs. Those that cares have some questions to answer ✍️ Thanks for sharing, Sister!

Yes ,Jessica. Your momma is walking in the integrity of the Lord. There was a saying when I was growing up. The old ladies back in the day used to always say. No matter how much makeup, nails done, etc….. at night, remember it all has to come off. I’m proud to be a mother and a grandmother. I will continue to walk with integrity that The Lord has blessed me with. Love mom💞🙏🏼

Well, Jesse, I have quite a few gray hairs, and the rest of them have fallen out! I suppose the goal is to be content in whatever season of life we find ourselves. God is still God and he is still good. Blessings!

Oh Tam! I have a good friend who started getting gray hairs in our 20s! She learned about plucking her gray hairs similarly. You anecdote made me smile at the memory. Yes, embrace these verses and your gray hairs. You are beautiful 🤍🌸
