Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22 KJV
When Jesus died on the cross the veil of the temple tore in two. This is representative of the flesh. His blood gave us access to approach the throne of grace boldly. Beyond the veil, Jesus’ flesh, we have access to God almighty.
So often humans who live in the flesh seem to think that their sin is hidden, cloaked, whether by darkness or hidden by way of secrets and lies. As if the sin weren’t seen by someone, if it has not yet been discovered or addressed, it didn’t happen. This is the one of the greatest deceptions of the enemy. I was watching a movie with the kids one night and was struck by a line “No one else was in the room where it happened… No one really knows how the game is played… We just assume that it happens…”
The lines hit me, especially as truths have begun to be uncovered in my own family. Secrets, lies, hidden sins, cloaked behind a veil of deceptions, it’s as though everyone would prefer to believe that the offenses never happened, because they happened beyond the veil.
I am saddened for all involved, offenders and victims, those who have remained silent and those who are only now coming to know the truth. I find solace and hope, however in knowing that the veil has been torn. Beyond the veil there is the hope of life afforded to all by the blood of Christ.
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3 KJV

Hope is found beyond the veil for that is where we draw near to God.
