God Makes No Mistakes

You will never find yourself without first finding Jesus.

You know, my entire life, I’ve been told that I was too loud, too quiet, too much, not enough… you get the idea, right? And from time to time, I admit, I listen to the voices and believe what they say.

But they’re wrong.

I, just like you, was made in the image of God. When He made me, and when He made you, He didn’t make a mistake. God didn’t cringe and say, Ugh, she’s just too much this/that. Or she’s just simply not enough ________. No, He said, It is good. As He did after every single thing He created. He made no mistakes.

I have lived my life trying to please others by trying to be quieter, louder. Smile more, smile less. Take up less space, make my presence known, seen, and felt.

But for what?

God just wants me for me. He wants me to be me. He made and formed me in His likeness and His image. He made me as I am. And even better He saw that it is good. As I strive each day to become more and more like Jesus, I am reminded, they didn’t like Him the way He was too much either.

“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬ ‭KJV‬‬
