Reach Out

It’s the smallest of moments that can change the course of a moment, a day, perhaps even your life…

I don’t think I’ve really shared too much about my extended family.. Well, I have a younger brother. He is an officer in the Navy, currently out to sea.. I don’t know if you have seen the news recently. There was a near miss with a Chinese vessel and a US naval ship.

Someone sent me the article and video: I hope this isn’t (your brother). Immediately, my mind went to the darkest of places (why do we do that?) Yet, I knew enough to reach out and request prayers.

As prayers came flooding in and I was able to pray as well. I was reminded of how good God is. He puts the right people in our lives at the right times.

A friend loveth at all times, And a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17 KJV

A simple request for prayer opened my eyes to someone that I hadn’t realized knew the Word of God so well. It gave realization to others who have been praying for me and my family all along, though I never knew.

We are never alone. Sometimes it just takes reaching out to remind us of that.

  1. Prayers + Faith = a miracle lifestyle.
It’s so beautiful how we can just communicate with God and rely on Him to make things happen; which eventually do. Blessings 😊
