Sharing Jesus

“If you really believe that Jesus is real, Why didn’t you share Him? If you really believed in heaven and hell and that sinners will go to hell, Why didn’t you sound the warning alarm? Do you hate me that much that you wouldn’t want to share this truth – that you’d allow me to risk heaven, for hell?”

I can’t recall where I heard this monologue, or a similar version, however, it struck me so deeply that it echoes constantly in my mind.

I used to be shy. And don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way the “life of anyone’s party.” Still, I have gained a boldness. A boldness to share Jesus with those whom I come into contact with.

I met a new friend, who directly asked me during one of our first conversations: Is your faith important to you?

Absolutely! My faith in Jesus is everything to me!

This person proceeded to ask more questions. He expressed that he was certainly surprised that he had not met a Christian like me before…

Thing is. we, as Christians, are to be known for our love, same as Jesus, when He walked this earth. It seems that we have received a negative reputation in some communities.

People have this perception that “Christians” aren’t inclusive. “Christians” are hateful. But when we follow Jesus’s example and His teachings, we recognize that He was outside, with the “sinners”. He loved the “unlovable”. He reached out to the forsaken, the forgotten, the excluded, the outcast. He’s still reaching out and loving today.

I’m thankful.

I’m the outcast. I’m the unlovable. I’m the forgotten. I’m the sinner. I’m all the above. And yet, Jesus loves me. His love transforms me daily. He calls me Beloved. He calls me His. In Him I belong. In Him I found grace, mercy, forgiveness, love…

Because He found me, loved me, I share Jesus with you.

  1. God Most High is the Creator of good and evil.
We have no chance any against evil.

For God so loved the world, that he gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
