Something I find lacking in today’s society is accountability. All too often we have excuse after excuse to explain away why we did this or didn’t do that – rather than owning and being accountable for our actions or lack thereof…
No one seems to think that they have to take responsibility for their actions or decisions. Fear looms over every action or inaction.
But, nothing is hidden from God. We’re all going to give an account, one day, for every deed and every word. We won’t be able to shift the blame on him or her for what we decided to do or say – or not do or not say.
