“…Thunder hit but it felt like lighting. The night I lost you, I lost a friend…” – “One More I Love You” by Alex Warren.
I think at one point or another in everyone’s life, there comes a time where you suffer loss. The worse loss I think I’ve ever experienced to date wasn’t of the loved ones who have passed away. As devastating as those losses were. The greatest losses in my life have stemmed from the people, relationships that were lost although we all are still walking around, fine and well, only we are no longer what we used to be to each other.
I think in my life, I’ve often taken some relationships for granted. There are those that we think will always be there – until they are not.
There are people I find myself missing. Relationships I have found myself mourning.
I’m thankful that Jesus is the friend that sticks closer than a brother… Still, today, I find myself missing my best friend 🤍
P.S. If this is Austin, I still love you
I truly understand that kind of loss…when it’s mere (spiritual) walls of hurt and hostility that separate us from our loved ones, and not the separation of death. I am learning to ask, and to keep on asking, and keep believing that God can/will break down those spiritual walls/barriers so that we might once again, be reunited in Him. He will do it, Jessy💕
For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. (Eph 2:14)

😊I rarely mourn lost relationships because I know that God places the people he wants in my life in each season. Bless you. ❤️
