Where To Turn

When you’re lonely, desperate, scared, and tired where do you turn?

The scary truth and harsh reality is that we live in a world that doesn’t know Jesus. More and more, people turn to drugs, alcohol, suicide, the devil. Less and less people turn to the One that can satisfy our souls. Less and less people follow what’s written in the Bible:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭30‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we go to the Good Book, go to what the Lord says, we find rest. Our hearts and minds can be at ease. We don’t have to be anxious for anything

A friend of mine is going through a tough time right now and has expressed that rest is one of the most difficult things to come by.

I’ve been there.

But one thing I know, even in the darkest nights and the deepest valleys, God promises to give us rest.

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭30‬:‭5‬b KJV‬‬
