Let Today Be The Day

In the span of a month, two of my childhood friends passed way. One being the godmother of one of my children.

I admit, I took the passings rather hard. I was able to look back on past conversations, the last words were positive: I’m thinking of you… I love you… However, the hard part is the finality of death. Once we pass away, that’s it.

There’s no more chances to repent. No more chances to get your life right.

Too often we put our salvation off for another day, another time, going to bed, assuming that we’ll wake up in the morning with the chance to have another day, another time. Never imagining that today, right now, may be our last opportunity to get our lives right with God.

I don’t want to miss another opportunity for myself, a loved one, or anyone… Dear friend, don’t let another moment pass.. if you, or someone you know, needs to repent, needs come back to Jesus, or maybe even has never known Him, let today be the day. Let this be the moment. He’s waiting with arms open wide. Jesus loves you so much.

Tomorrow isn’t promised to us. Today may be the only day we have.
