Know My Heart

You know what I feel is the best and most challenging thing to do? Taking a good long look at yourself…

In Psalm 139:23 KJV, when David wrote: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts:”

I wonder if he anticipated what God would reveal to him, regarding his heart and thoughts…

This has been my prayer… Search me, o God, and know me…

Thing is, when we pray this, He reveals us to ourselves.. It’s like taking a good, long look in the mirror of all that’s inside of you. And you learn… You learn who you are; who’s you are; how you are; what you are… You learn a lot…

I’ve learned a great deal about myself. Areas where I have grown, areas where I can still grow; areas where I’ve healed and that still need healing…

I’m thankful that God loves us so much that He does this…

  1. Seems to be be pretty straightforward, Jessy! But Wow…the waiting…what will He say?? Will we be chastised or rebuked? But when we love Jesus, we want to remove any hindrances that prevent us from taking that closer walk with Jesus; therefore it becomes quite a bold prayer to pray…but it’s worth it for Love 💕
