Those words caught me off guard. I didn’t think I had done or said anything special. In truth, I wasn’t having the best morning. But you know, I realized the truth behind the statement: you never know what someone is going through.

When I stopped, I realized that she must’ve been struggling as well. It brought tears to my eyes.
We are to be salt and light. We’re to live and love like Jesus.
I don’t know what I did to make her feel welcomed. But I’m grateful to have had that encounter.
