My Answers (I’ll do the best I can, haha)
What is your biggest fear?
I think my biggest fear is failing and not being able to support my children. I want to show them that they can achieve anything that they set their minds to, by example, not just words…
What would you like to achieve with your writing?
I have never considered this before… I write because I enjoy writing. I write because I receive an inspiration from something I hear, or a conversation. Writing is my saving grace… I write more for myself, but if I write and it inspires someone, then it’s a good day, I think.
On a scale from 1 (hell would be better) to 10 (everything is more than perfect), how satisfied are you with your life right now and why do you think so?
Umm… I think a 7… My life isn’t perfect, I also have no real complaints. Of course things could always improve, but they could always be worse, I am so grateful that they are not (knock on wood, haha)
What is the first thing you do every morning?
I pray. I thank God for life, my home, my children, my job. I also check on my kiddos. I think no matter how old they become, I will check to make sure they are breathing!
How do you like to spend your weekends?
Depends! If I have my children, we enjoy baseball games (during baseball season). We love going on hikes and to the park. I spend time with friends (doing much of the same, minus the hikes, replace with food). Or, I like to be a tad lazy around the house with a book, or Korean Dramas (with or without the kids) – the only television I watch!
What are you grateful for?
I truly have the BEST kiddos a mom could dream of having, they help me to become a better person. I am grateful to God for this life that I live, I don’t have to be here, but He saw fit to bless me with life, love, and family!
What things do you have on your bucket list?
I have a “40 Things To Do Before I’m 40” bucket list. I’ve already checked some things off, there are a lot of things I still need to check off, like take a vacation with my sister 🙂
What’s the craziest dream you ever had?
While sleeping or aspiration? (I’ll share both – not in that order) My craziest aspiration was to teach my children the inverse of colors, as an experiment, to prove that humans know and believe what they are taught, and blue to you isn’t necessarily blue to me. (Crazy, not crazy? I didn’t do it at the end of the day.) Craziest dream while sleeping – and this one always scared me! I used to have a dream that I had a gerbil that began to multiply into hundreds of gerbils and they covered everything! (Something about a gerbil’s tail that freaks me out. I’ve had guinea pigs and even a hairless rat as a pet, but never a gerbil – they freak me out.)
What’s your core belief?
I believe in one God. I believe that the greatest commandment is to love: To love the Lord with my whole heart, to strive to love others as I love myself. Also, that it is more blessed to give than to receive, and it is greater to serve others than to reign over others.
What is your biggest desire?
My biggest desire… Hmm… I think I would have to say that my biggest desire is travel. I greatly enjoy visiting new places and learning new cultures and even picking up new languages. So, travel, travel, travel!
